Cluster Based Business Organisation

PDS is empanelled as Cluster Business Organisation (CBBO) by NABARD and NCDC, GoI. Under the “Central Sector Scheme of promotion of 10000 FPOs” of Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, GoI, PDS was empaneled by NABARD and NCDC (National Cooperative Development Corporation) as Cluster Based Business Organization (CBBO) for the promotion and handholding of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in Kerala. As CBBO, PDS is responsible for formation and handholding of FPOs for a period of 5 years and ensure their sustainability after the government support.  Under the program currently 32 FPOs are promoted in 11 districts of Kerala State.
